We got a young dog from the shelter a few years ago; it’s been so wonderful to see the relationships blossom between my kids and our dog.
Thank you so much, Rosemary! I do have two cats, but they live at my parents' house. I'm not sure if they'll ever get to move over here because the dogs would indeed lose their minds, and my hubby is somewhat allergic. Also they are used to being indoor/outdoor cats since my folks have a pet door, and we live on MUCH busier road than they do so I wouldn't feel comfortable either trying to make them stay inside OR letting them outside and possibly get run over. My kitties stay inside. I have two cornish rex kitties - they are not littermates. We have had cornish rex kitties since 1991, many lovely kitties
