I was introduced to DMSO Years ago by the stunt industry. My Ex-husband was a stunt man in movies and often used it to repair damage joints etc. It works like a dream! I didn’t realize it’s many other applications! Good to learn! And happy birthday to Betsy! Two wow! 🎂💝🎉🎈🎊🥳
Thank you so much, Charlotte! 😊 I'm just getting started learning about the stuff, my mom already knew about it though. I'm excited about the possibilities and so far, so good!
Have you had issues with the DMSO and bad smells. I was also trying it with my son but not sure if you can avoid the breath/body odor that comes with using it. Does dose level make a difference? Only been using a few drops.
And just now talking to my husband, he says it may be the opposite of what I said, that the strong smell may mean the body isn't putting it to use. He also said the dosage does make a difference and one way to not smell it is to take it yourself. Once it's in your system, you won't notice it on him. Only problem there is other people still can, so I'm not sure that's much of a solution! 😂
Thanks for sharing. I haven’t incorporated extra vitamins but was thinking of adding GABA to it. I feel like there might be some improvements but I’m still unsure if the dosage is correct. Seems worth the try though.
Ohhh definitely we've had issues. I'm not sure if the dosage makes a difference, I want to say it has to do with how much the body needs it, and I'm not sure if I'm explaining this properly or if I'm even right. I vaguely recall reading a comment about this on one of A Midwestern Doctor's posts, something like the less repair the body needs, the less smell. Again, I'm not 100% sure on that. We've kinda gotten used to the smell, but we give it to her before bed, so the smell is at its strongest while we're all sleeping! It's still definitely there when she wakes up, but it fades. And we're also using very small amounts like you. I really hope it's making a difference for you guys! Thank you for reading and commenting!
