Betsy woke up way earlier than I wanted her to today, as she often does, and so far today I am doing my darnedest to not feel tired and annoyed or let little things bother me. I know why God made babies so cute. I can’t really be upset when I see those big brown eyes and adorable smile. Another Friday is here, and I’m like where did the week go? Most people love weekends, but they’re actually busier for me than the weekdays. Ain’t no rest for the Moms. And yep, there’s another song to add to my Earworms Challenge for today (see
for more on that).I was looking for a cute recent photo of Betsy to share here, but my camera roll is mostly video lately. I’ve started sharing on YouTube daily, so if you really like watching Betsy, subscribing to my channel would be a great idea. I also post music stuff there, too, but it’s mostly her. Here's my latest one, which shows just how flexible Down Syndrome kids are. For some reason, YouTube won’t embed in my posts anymore, and that’s been really frustrating, cos I used to do it all the time. Not sure what that’s about. So I’m paying the Baby Tax either way, here’s Sleeping Beauty.
Speaking of which, my beautiful girl has just woken up from her nap. So to finish up, here’s some things I’m going to do for myself today:
Listen to some videos to help me with my money mindset
Listen to the new podcast from
on her recent post (I finished it. You should listen, too)Drink plenty of water (I looove water, but I haven’t been drinking enough)
Spend some time outside
Get all prettied up just for the hell of it
What are you going to do for yourself today?
Ohhhhh, she is so adorable! Sleeping Beauty and Big Brown eyes 🥰. Mine is 5 and she still puts her feet on her head occasionally 😂. It’s crazy how flexible these kiddos are!
